My 15 amp breaker keeps tripping. Can I replace it with a 20 amp to stop the tripping?

In most cases you cannot upsize the circuit breaker. The breaker must be sized to protect the conductor of the circuit (wire size). 14 AWG wire max amperage is 15 amps. 12 AWG wire max amperage is 20 amps so if your tripping circuit is size 14 AWG, you cannot use a 20 amp breaker. Contact MNE Electric to diversify the load on that circuit and stop the tripping.
